“"The Fence" is an ever-changing sculpture gallery on the boundary of the artist's home. A public display of stainless steel wildlife art in Bristol.”
"The Fence" is an evolving, open-air installation that serves as the front boundary of my home and studio. More than just a perimeter, it functions as a dynamic, public gallery, allowing me to share my latest wildlife sculptures directly with neighbors, locals, and passersby.
This living display features a rotating collection of works—from clinging insects and perched birds to climbing reptiles—integrated directly into the steel fence. It transforms a standard architectural feature into a playful and unexpected encounter with nature. By placing art in the public realm, "The Fence" invites daily interaction, sparking conversations and offering a glimpse into my creative process without the formality of a traditional gallery setting.
