A contemporary gate installation on Arley Hill, Bristol, featuring minimal, abstract dandelion forms worked into the steel design.

Dandelions Gate, Arley Hill

The Dandelions gate has recently been fitted on Arley Hill, Cotham, Bristol.

The design features abstract, simplified dandelion forms worked directly into the gate, rather than the surrounding railings. Reduced to their essential shapes, the dandelions are subtle rather than literal — a quiet reference to a familiar plant, interpreted in a more minimal, graphic way.

Set within the everyday streetscape of Cotham, the gate adds a small moment of softness and character, without overwhelming its setting.
