A piece by urban artist, Julian Warren, also known as Metalgnu. His work can be found throughout Bristol, adding unexpected iguanas to railings, and steel spider webs to drain gratings. He started out making candlesticks made out of car parts, that he sold out of a wheelbarrow down by the docks. This entrepreneurial market-style spirit is part of the intrinsic fabric of the art-scene in Bristol, and something that is beginning to take root in Cardiff too. This direct contact between creative bods and prospective purchasers is something that is lost in the gallery setting. – Lottie Flowermaker
